Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights activist and philanthropist who is charitable. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long career has earned her international acclaim for her accomplishments in international law as well as in the area of human rights. The most notable clients she has worked with are various nations, including Armenia which is trying to convince an agreement with the Turkish government to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney married American actor George Clooney and became a well-known name in pop media in the year 2014. Before that, she was already famous and loved by legal professionals as a lawyer who consistently represents clients with skill and the success they have achieved. She has tackled human and civil rights issues, to representing several multi-national corporations in their court actions and negotiations concerning government regulations. Since 2015 she worked as a barrister in British courts in Doughty Street Chambers.
